Dr. Caitlin Brown, DVM
Emergency Care DVM
Dr. Caitlin Brown (she/her) is one of the most longstanding ER veterinarians at WAVES. She was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario.
She completed her Bachelor of Sciences with Honours in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College, where she discovered a love for small animal emergency medicine.
She has a soft spot for all senior pets and has a keen interest in emergency soft tissue surgery, stabilization of critically ill patients, and point-of-care ultrasonography. She is a self-proclaimed horse person and hopes to have another equine companion in her life soon!
