Dr. Kari Christianson, DVM

DVM

Kari Christianson is a native of Arizona, but spent most of her childhood in a suburb of Chicago, IL. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Iowa State University in 2006 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with a focus on mixed animal practice from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, she practiced on the Oregon coast before returning to Arizona.

She started her own mixed animal practice in the rural White Mountains treating all types of animals and wildlife, both in the clinic and on the farm. In 2016, she discovered a passion for emergency and critical care medicine and surgery. When an opportunity presented to live and work in beautiful British Columbia, she was excited to explore a new country. She moved to Vancouver Island in July 2019 with furry crew in tow, including her horse, dog, and two cats.

She continues her volunteer work with a local search and rescue team and enjoys pursuing artistic outlets, exploring the outdoors, and everything the island life and Canada have to offer.
