Dr. Nathan Bodnar, DVM

Originally from Edmonton Alberta, Dr. Nathan Bodnar received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the WCVM in 2007 and previously graduated with a Bachelor of Science from UVic in 2003. In 2008, Dr. Bodnar completed an internship in emergency and critical care at Dove Lewis ER and ICU Animal Hospital in Portland, Oregon. He worked as a staff emergency doctor in Oregon from 2009-2014. He worked as an ER veterinarian in the Houston area since 2014 until he joined WAVES and relocated back to Canada in 2021. His special interests include toxicology and endocrine emergencies. 

While away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids along with his dogs and cats. He also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and exploring new areas.
