Lily, RVT

Neurology, RVT

I have been in the veterinary field for the last 18 years. I started out as an assistant and became a Registered Veterinary Technician 4 years later. I attended the University of Guelph – Ridgetown Campus in Ontario and became an RVT in 2008. I chose the veterinary field because it merges my two passions which are animals and medicine. I have worked in small animal practice ever since at a few different clinics including a large Emergency and Referral Facility in Toronto for 10 years where I worked in the Emergency, Dentistry, Neurology and Intensive Care Departments. This is where I found my passion for Neurology! I came to WAVES almost 2 years ago and have been with the Neurology Department since it opened. I love the advanced imaging part of my job which includes CT and MRI.

A fun fact about myself is that I love chihuahuas and outside of work you will find me hiking with my chihuahua Kenny!
