My name is Michelle Savery. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and have been since I graduated from the distance education program at Thompson Rivers University in 2008. It was a second career choice for me – I went back to school in my 30s, and I’m still in love with my job every single day.

I am proud to say I have worked in the emergency department at WAVES since we opened our doors in 2019. I have always worked emergency, and probably always will as I find it challenging, but rewarding and always changing.

When I am not at work, I am spending time with my family, or with my other passion – photography. I have two dogs who go hiking with me every day, looking for great things to enjoy and photograph in nature. Anyone interested can find some of my work at michelle-savery.pixels.com
